KBank pioneers a new structure for its marketing activities, becoming the first bank to use eco-friendly modular booths towards achieving its net-zero emissions target in all dimensions

KBank is forging ahead with its commitment to achieve its net-zero emissions target across all dimensions. As the pioneering bank with a new structure for marketing activities, KBank is now using eco-friendly modular booths that champion Thai innovation by utilizing PlasBrick, an interlocking block made from recycled plastic materials. PlasBrick is reusable and recyclable, offering limitless flexibility in design and mobility. KBank plans to continuously reuse these materials for all its marketing activities throughout the year. This effort aims to reduce waste in line with the Bank’s Zero Waste goal. The initiative underscores KBank’s dedication to developing thoughtful services and creating the most satisfying service experience while protecting the environment and delivering sustainable value.

Ms. Chitravinee Vannakorn, KBank First Senior Vice President, said the Bank is committed to developing services that deliver trusted experiences and flexible, adaptable solutions to customers, with a strong focus on sustainable management. This vision led to the creation of marketing activities that prioritize environmental responsibility, while also promoting a “Go Green Together” approach to transition towards eco-friendly lifestyles and businesses. As part of this commitment, KBank has become the first bank to introduce eco-friendly modular booths in its marketing activities. These booths are built using PlasBrick, interlocking blocks made from recycled plastic that fit together like building blocks. PlasBrick is used as the primary material for the Bank’s booth structures, which will feature prominently in exhibitions and marketing events throughout 2025. Not only are these booths made from environmentally friendly materials that can be reused and recycled over the long term, but they also meet the Bank’s needs for flexible and versatile event setups. The eco-modular booths have three key advantages:

Eco-friendliness: The use of core materials made from 100-percent recycled plastic helps reduce waste. The material is produced by melting down plastic waste and utilizes color injection instead of spraying or painting, which prevents the release of paint particles into the air. If any parts are damaged or need to be recolored, only the necessary components can be remelted and remolded without having to reproduce the entire structure, minimizing waste and reducing the need for new production. Additionally, the block-shaped, lightweight design allows for easier and more efficient transport, reducing fuel consumption. As the materials are reusable, the Bank can repurpose this eco-friendly modular booth structure for various events throughout the year. This helps reduce leftover materials, aligning with the Bank’s Zero Waste goal and contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions from related activities.

Cost and time efficiency: The modular block-connection design enables quick and easy assembly and disassembly, significantly reducing labor and time compared to traditional materials. Furthermore, a single production run can support KBank’s booth setup across multiple events, both indoors and outdoors, offering long-term cost savings.

Meeting design needs: PlasBrick’s modular block system locks together like building blocks, allowing for versatile booth layouts. This adaptability enables customization to suit different customer service areas and varying event requirements.

Ms. Chitravinee concluded, “KBank has continuously selected and developed booth structural materials to achieve cost-effectiveness and processes that meet usage requirements. It is the first bank to implement PlasBrick, a patented designer material, in practical applications as exhibition booth structures. This approach helps preserve the environment while promoting and supporting Thai innovation. KBank first used these eco-friendly modular booth structures at the Money Expo 2025 Bangkok in May, with the booth certified as carbon neutral by the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO). KBank will continue utilizing this structure in marketing activities throughout the year to jointly drive itself and Thailand towards the net-zero greenhouse gas emissions goal.”
