Beware of fake social media official account
Communication via social network is now widely used by organizations and companies to contact customers or conduct PR campaigns as it provides greater convenience, speed and access to a large number of clients at the same time. However, scammers also use this channel to create legitimate-looking accounts, such as imitating the LINE OA of banks, to lure potential victims into giving them important data or transferring funds to them. Such news has become commonplace.
Create a fake but legitimate-looking official account of an organization or company.
Use a fake but legitimate-looking profile picture by using the current profile picture of the victim or searching for an image from the internet.
Conversation characteristic is mostly in convincing and panic tone in order to lure you into disclosing sensitive information such as password, personal data and account data, or to convince you to inadvertently conduct financial transactions in exchange for certain benefits.
Here are useful tips for identifying KBank's social media account in order to help detect fraudulent accounts and to keep your account secure.
1. Look for the "verified" mark from the LINE program.

3. Report cyber threats to LINE Help Center:
If you're sure that the LINE account in question is not legitimate, report to the LINE Help Center to request an examination and have the fake account deleted. Go to the Chat menu of the fraudulent user account -> Other settings -> Report.
