KBank’s Buildings

KASIKORNBANK PUBLIC COMPANY LIMITED (“KBank”) as a controller of Personal Data, shall collect, use and / or disclose your Personal Data once you have entered KBank’s buildings, which are offices of KBank and / or other companies located in the KBank’s buildings. This Privacy Policy is intended to inform you, as a data subject, of the objectives and details of the collection, use and / or disclosure of your Personal Data as well as your legal rights in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law. Details are as follows.

  1. Your Personal Data that KBank collects, uses and / or discloses

    2. Once you have entered KBank’s buildings, you are required to provide your Personal Data on your national ID card, passport or personal identification documents issued by the relevant government agencies. KBank shall collect, use and / or disclose your Personal Data as KBank deems necessary including name-surname, national identification number, passport number and face photograph on such documents. Additionally, KBank may need to collect, use and / or disclose other types of Personal Data from the fact that you have entered KBank’s buildings such as video from CCTV cameras and your vehicle registration plate number.

    If you fail to provide your Personal Data to KBank, you may not be allowed to enter KBank’s buildings, or you may find it inconvenient to enter KBank’s buildings to do business.

  1. Objectives of collecting, using and / or disclosing Personal Data

    2. KBank shall collect, use and / or disclose Personal Data for the purpose of maintaining your security, plus the security of other persons and assets located in KBank’s buildings or other purposes that are permitted by the relevant laws such as:

    1. (1)Recording and controlling access to KBank’s buildings.
    2. (2)Preventing and investigating crimes and offences within KBank’s buildings.
    3. (3)Reporting facts to the relevant persons and / or competent authorities.
    4. (4)Contacting you if necessary.

KBank may need to disclose your Personal Data to any other persons and agencies to the extent permissible by law, including but not limited to other companies with offices located in KBank’s buildings, security companies, security guards, Personal Data processors, outsourced service providers, KBank’s representatives and competent authorities.

  1. Personal Data protection and duration for your Personal Data retention

KBank shall retain your Personal Data in accordance with various measures to safeguard the security in processing Personal Data in an appropriate manner, and to prevent any Personal Data breach. KBank shall retain your Personal Data for as long as necessary in connection with related objectives under this Privacy Policy, but not exceeding 1 year after the collection date, unless the law requires or permits a longer retention period.

    KBank may erase, destroy, or anonymize the Personal Data when it is no longer necessary or when the allowed retention period lapses.

  1. Your rights in connection with Personal Data

Your rights are legal rights, namely right to revoke consent, right to access, right to data portability, right to object the use and / or disclosure of Personal Data, right to erasure or right to be forgotten, right to restrict processing, right to rectification and right to lodge complaint to the relevant competent authorities in accordance with the relevant laws. You may exercise any of these rights via the channels established by KBank.
